Club froZEN75

Many people in the 18-20 age range in Las Vegas have been seeking out a nightclub that caters to their age group. I heard through word of mouth about a club called froZEN 75 in Green Valley located at 4427 East Sunset Road. This club is open to ages 14 and over from 8pm to 11:15pm on Fridays and Saturdays, then after 11:15 it turns into an 18 and over nightclub. General admission is 15 dollars, but if you have a student I.D. of any kind it is 12 dollars.

My adventure at club froZEN 75 started with being asked to pull over our car as we entered their parking lot to be searched for weapons. We were first patted down as we got out of our car. Then they proceeded to check the trunk of the car and also the glove department. I am assuming they must do this to keep the club safe, which is completely fine with me. We then parked and stood in line for the club to be patted down yet again. At this point I thought the security process was over board, but its all in the name of safety. At least they are precocious instead of lax on security. We had to ditch our keys and cigarettes to them before we went into the club(They held them at the front desk for us).

Now onto to the club... The lady at the cashier was friendly and upbeat, but she failed to mention the student discount to me so I ended up paying the 15 bucks to get in. If you do go and you are a student make sure to mention the student discount. The inside was well-decorated and clean with leather couches on some of the walls. Fog machines surrounded the dance floor with lights flashing as well. Surprisingly, the environment was impressive for an 18 and over club. I was expecting a dark room with just a DJ playing some music. This club also has VIP areas you can rent out if you are going to froZEN 75 with a large group of friends. Something you cannot find at most 18 and over clubs.

I may have gone on an off night but the party wasn't crackin' at all. Most of the guys were standing on the wall twiddling their thumbs. This was somewhat understandable because it was a giant "cockfest", pardon my French. Many of the girls there were either with their friends that happened to be guys or their boyfriends. I have only been here once though this may not be the case all the time. On a lighter note, the music was great. froZEN 75 played everything from hip-hop to techno. This club has potential to be a great place, but just didn't do it for me the night I went mainly because of the crowd they had that night. One of the bouncers told me that it was an off night and that the crowd is usually much better.

Club frozen 75 is the closest you will get to a 21+ Las Vegas nightclub if you are underage and a guy. If you are bored and with a group of your friends that are in the mood for some dancing head over to Club froZEN 75. Do not go looking to hook-up or dance with some random people, try a house party instead.
